Ache´

Every thing below was a part of a Solo art installation at the Raiders ridge Café in 2020. This was during the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The things I paint are often reflections of issues or things I encounter in everyday life. Sometimes I find myself in situations that are so unique, they leave me with a lasting impression or feeling that I try to convey in my work. Each piece has its own story that played a roll in its creation. For example, ‘Luv is Like a MoshPit’ was created after several encounters I had with a homeless man that ended with me driving him to the hospital. This individual told me he had been hit by a car and supposedly brought back to life by the first responders who arrived on scene. These stories are only relevant to me and my part in the artworks creation. The viewer is meant to take away any interpretation they please.  I believe that there is something for each person in these works even if it is merely a sense of aesthetic pleasure.  My work is heavily influenced by street art and the inner-city urban art scene. I choose spray paint as a medium because it is extremely limiting.  Once a mark is made, it is permanent and you have to work with what you have. I try to avoid limiting myself to any one style or technique during my creative process.
